The Shakey’s V-League Open and Reinforced Conference Champions, Pocari Sweat Lady Warriors, became stronger as they recruit new players. With their Reinforced Conference roster, Pocari Sweat is already considered as a strong team. Headed by the Team Captain Michelle Gumabao, Pocari has its strong players in the name of Myla Pablo, Melissa Gohing, and Elaine Kasilag.
But Pocari wants their team to be a more stronger team as they include a former Atenean and a former Thomasian. Being a powerhouse team, Pocari wants to defend the title Champions in the V-League. Last November, Team manager Eric Ty confirmed that the former Lady Eagle, Fille Saint Merced Cainglet-Cayetano, will be one of the key additions of the team. This 25-year old spiker will see action again after giving birth to her second child, Fille Renee Cayetano. Fille Cainglet is one of the superstars of Ateneo Lady Eagles during her college days bringing Ateneo to two finals appearance in the UAAP.
Before the year ends, Pocari once again recruits another player in the name of Jessey De Leon. Jessey is a product of the UST Golden Tigresses. She last played in the PSL ALL-Filipino Conference for the RC Cola-Army. She helped the Lady Troopers in achieving the bronze medal in the said league.
Still in the roster of Pocari are Myla Pablo, Elaine Kasilag, Desiree Dadang, Melissa Gohing and Gyzelle Sy after signing contract on the team. Pocari Sweat is really a team to beat.
