After finishing 6th place in the All-Filipino Conference, the Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors are eyeing for a semifinal spot in the 2017 Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix.
For it is their first time to join the Grand Prix, Sta. Lucia make sure to acquire powerful reinforcements, namely Marisa Field and Kristen Moncks, who are both members of the Canada national team. They also added an additional asset in the name of a Slavina Koleva, Bulgarian outside hitter.

Marisa Field, a 30 year-old middle blocker, was seen action in premier club tournaments in several countries. She became an import in the clubs: CV Las Palmas in Spain, SV Sinsheim in Germany, Istres Ouest Provence in France, VolleyStars Thüringen in Germany, NUC Volleyball in Switzerland, and Engelholms VS in Sweden. Earlier this year, before joining the Lady Realtors, she played for the Panathinaikos A.O., a powerhouse volleyball club in the City of Athens in Greece.
Kristen Moncks, one of the finest floor defenders in Canada, will be the libero the Lady Realtors. She played for her country in the FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Grand Prix 2016 together with Marisa Field. This 25 year-old libero is expected to protect the floor for the Sta. Lucia.
Another reinforcement is Slavina Koleva, a 30 year-old outside hitter from Sofia. She is a member of the Bulgarian national women’s volleyball team. Standing 6’0, Koleva also played in different countries such as France, Turkey, and Slovenia.

The three imports will join the Lady Realtors volleybelles such as the Filipino-American Mar-Jana Philips, Djanel Welch Cheng, Jannine Navarro, Danika Gendrauli, Maria Lourdes Clemente, and Filipino-Canadian setter Rebecca Rivera.
Coach Sammy Acaylar, the head coach of Sta. Lucia, said that they are all very excited for the Grand Prix. In addition of not only the skills but also the height, the Lady Realtors will absolutely give their hearts out to achieve their goal in the 2017 Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix.
